TCA Venezuela was founded on June 25, 2000 as a subsidiary of Tradewind Caribbean Airlines by Jesus Betancourt, with the purpose of creating a space dedicated to virtual aviation in Venezuela when this world was just beginning. In those early days, flights were conducted on the SATCO network, which would later evolve into VATSIM.

What began as a small project among friends quickly grew into one of the most active virtual aviation communities in Venezuela. At that time, virtually everyone who started in the world of virtual aviation in Venezuela and several Latin American countries passed through TCA Venezuela, being the first virtual airline and one of the very few in existence at the time. Jesus welcomed everyone equally, creating a space of camaraderie, family and passion that defines our essence to this day.

In 2025, we launched TCA Hub, our proprietary ACARS application that revolutionized the way our pilots record and share their flights.

Today, TCA Venezuela maintains constant activity, supported by a community of over 80 active pilots. We are a diverse and authentic reflection of the aviation world: from pilots and instructors who fly professionally for some of the best airlines in the world, to enthusiasts taking their first steps and discovering their passion for the skies.

As a community, we constantly move forward, expanding our operations and refining our tools to offer an increasingly realistic, immersive and enriching virtual aviation experience.
